First take the white cardstock and add mixed media. I used Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide by squishing onto a craft mat and adding water. I then added a controlled area of ink using a paintbrush on the right hand side. Then splatter with the same colour and add Black Soot splatters too. Leave to dry. You can see my method in the You Tube video above.
Trim 1” from the left hand side of the white cardstock and add two pink and black strips measuring 0.5" each.
My photo is 2.5” square and I matted it onto a square of 2.75”. Add this to the top of the mixed media area.
Beneath the photo create two more layered squares using the black and pink papers only. These measure 2.75”x 2.5”, 2.25” and 2” square. Punch a 1.25” circle from the pink and black card and add this to the centre of the bottom squares. Punch a further heart from the black and pink card and add these to the circles.
Fussy cut the white tag from the cut apart sheet and cut it down to tuck behind the photo.
Cut several words from the text paper, especially the ones with pink highlighting. Add these around the squares.
Add a few Green Tara Cherry Blossoms Rose Tones flowers and a fussy cut camera from the cut apart sheet. I punched a pink circle to add to the centre of the camera to cover a blue heart which didn’t go with my layout.
Finally use one of the 3D stickers from the kit to finalise your layout.
