Hi everyone,
Nicola here sharing my next layout from the November 2025 Scrapaholix Kits, which are based around Bella Blvd's Documented collection.
I started with the Currently Loving sheet, which comes in the main kit - if you saw my first layout from the November kits earlier this month, you might recall I cut a circle out of it using one of my son's plastic plates to draw around. I only used half the circle on my previous layout, so I had the other semicircle set aside to use another time.
I distressed the round edge of my semicircle and then positioned it (blue side up) on the lefthand side of my backing paper, which is the Scrappy Talk paper from Bella Blvd's Let's Scrapbook! (link to this sheet on the website is in the list below).
If you're looking to do some crafty themed layouts (photos from crops, for example; my photo is from a crop day in Birmingham in the summer) but don't want to buy a full themed collection, Bella Blvd's Documented and Let's Scrapbook! collections go together really well, so the November kits are a great, more general, theme that you can match nicely with just a few select pieces from Let's Scrapbook!
I backed my photo on the Fussy (pink) Bazzill cardstock from the main kit and positioned it across my semicircle, with about a third of my photo over the blue. I cut out the "Crop" and "Create" rectangles from the Let's Scrapbook! Daily Details paper, distressed the edges, and then tucked these behind the top right corner of my photo along the diagonal towards the top right corner of the page.
I then cut out 4 heart shapes, 1 from each of:
* Currently Loving (blue side; main kit),
* Snippets (pink side; add-on kit),
* Hello (stripey side; add-on kit),
* Daily Details (the Documented Daily Details - same page name as in Let's Scrapbook, not confusing at all, right?! - from the main kit; black paperclip pattern side).
And backed the hearts on some white cardstock to give them a little white edge so they pop against the background a bit better. I tucked 3 of the hearts behind the Create rectangle and 1 behind the bottom left corner of my photo.
I clustered the butterfly and camera ephemera (from my add-on kit; you get a random selection of 9 pieces, so pieces vary) and the "Love" pennant flag, which I cut from the journal card in the bottom left corner of the Documented Daily Details sheet (when I cut my heart from the reverse side, I made sure to cut it out of a journal card I was less likely to use) around the bottom right corner of my photo. The Love pennant flag is raised on foam for added dimension.
I took the big stripey clipboard clip (another piece from my ephemera assortment from the add-on kit) and tucked that behind the top left corner of my photo and added a bit of twine through the hole. I then overlaid a title piece from the Bella Blvd Let's Scrapbook! Ephemera Words pack from my stash (again, backed on white to give it that extra border) raised with foam.
To finish off, I added some Bella Blvd epoxy dots (which came from a Bella Blvd pack I had in my stash that colour-matched quite nicely) in 3s scattered around my layout.
I hope this has given you some inspiration for the November 2025 kits and I look forward to bringing you more layouts very soon. In the meantime, there's lots of crafty inspiration available on the
Scrapaholix and
Mad Scrapper blogs, so do pop over and take a look.
Happy crafting! x
