Raising Tadpoles by CHARLEEN WALES

This project was supposed to be a 12x12 scrapbook page with a lot of photos. I was thinking of doing a grid type layout but I had too many photos and just could not make it work. I almost abandoned the project but then remembered I had some pocket sleeves so decided to turn it into a pocket page instead, which worked!
For this pocket page I've used the Sweet Rush Garden Variety pattern paper and the Bazzill Rain cardstock which are both from the main kit. I've also used the Tim Holtz quote chips which are also from the main kit.
I started off by measuring and cutting the papers to fit my pockets.
I loved the banner strip at the bottom  of the Garden Variety pattern paper so kept that aside as I knew I would use it.
I fussy cut a few of the flowers from the pattern paper I had left over and backed my photos with white cardstock.
Because the words are in black on the quote chips I decided to go with a black title, the black alphas are from my own stash. I also made my own quote chip for the last pocket where my daughter is saying goodbye to her little frogs.
I did use 3 of the Sweet Rush die-cut pieces that came in the add-on kit on the bottom right pocket. I used the flowers that I had fussy cut to embellish my photos and to layer up some of the flowers to add some dimension to the page.
Happy Scrapping xx
