Let's Go! by KERRY MCINALLY

I started by mounting a 3/4 inch border of the pink Dotted Swiss to the 12 x 12 Touch of Pink cardstock.
Then using my 1inch circle punch I cut out a rainbow and a sun from the Look Up papers and covered them with an epoxy circle from my stash.
I trimmed my photo to 5 x 3.5 inches purely to limit some empty space.  I then backed the photo with the b side of the Balanced paper, white cardstock and then the b side of Balanced again, distressing in between layers.
Then I cut out six strips of the Balanced and Look Up papers measuring roughly 6 x 2.5 inches long.  I then cut them again on an angle to make long triangular shapes.  This left me with several smaller off cuts.  I gave two of these triangles fish tails.
I folded each triangle in half length ways and distressed the edges.  This gives more dimension which I like.  I arranged the triangles so that the points were directed towards the centre and then added two of the offcuts which I had trimmed from my rectangles.
I placed my photo in the centre of the cluster raised on some double sided foam from my stash.  I then used the epoxy flair and other embellishments from the kit on the corners.
Next I made two small banners using the cut apart section of the good this papers.  I cut out the "see good in all things" circle and then cut out the words and added to the banners.
Finally I used lettering from my own stash to spell out ‘let’s go’.  My son and daughter were eagerly awaiting a trip to the beach.
With the exception of the lettering and epoxy flair everything is included in the kit.  Epoxy flair is available through The Mad Scrapper…
