Woodland fairy plaque by LOUSIE CROSBIE

Hi there.
I’m sharing this woodland fairy wooden plaque with you today. It’s actually the inspiration for a class I will be teaching this month at the shop.
I’ve used a bit of old wooden plank left over from getting new window surrounds put in.
I’ve used lots of Dusty Attic chipboard, Finnabair paints and mediums, a resin moon and a resin fairy cast from moulds.
After glueing all my embellishments on and coating everything in black gesso, I painted it in a sort of Ombré effect with different shades of green. I used Finnabair metallique paints and sparks paints for that.

It’s also got lots of pixie paste and glitter on it as well as metallique waxes.

Hopefully the class attendees will enjoy creating their little woodland fairy scene.
Thank you for visiting the shop blog.
Louise.
