Sweet Thing by NICOLA CAMPBELL

Hi everyone,

Nicola here sharing another layout using the September 2026 Scrapaholix Kits, which are based around Uniquely Creative's Oh So Lovely collection. The blog post walking you through the contents of both the main and add-on kits can be found here.

I used the marbly-effect side of the Oh Sweetie patterned paper as my background - I bought this paper as an extra to go with my kits; you can find the link to it in the shop in the supplies list below. This is one of those lovely patterned papers that does a lot of the hard work in the layout for you, so I really only needed my photo, a couple of simple embellishment clusters around it and let the background do the rest.

I backed my 4x6 photo on the lighter side of Fuchsia cardstock from the main kit and placed it in the gap between the flowers on the background paper, which is slightly right of centre on the page. I took one of the larger floral clusters from the Oh So Lovely Creative Cuts pack (linked below) and tucked it behind the top right corner of my photo. I placed one of the pink document clips from the Creative Cuts pack along the top of my photo and then raised a butterfly (again, Creative Cuts pack) on foam over the corner.

I took another Creative Cuts flower cluster and placed it over the bottom left corner of my photo, raised on foam, as the foundation for my other cluster (I like to do opposing corners, and I liked how it looked having the flowers in one corner tucked behind and the other raised over the top - it kind of creates a stacking effect). I tucked a strawberry (Creative Cuts pack) and one of the circular chip stickers (you get 4 in the add-on kit; designs vary) under the edges of that raised flower cluster. The strawberry felt like an appropriate touch as I was slurping on sangria in the photo.

To finish, I scattered 3 Little Birdie Natalia flowers around in each of the corner clusters to give it that extra little 3D element (you get 6 flowers in the add-on kit, I've also linked some full packs below if you want to stock up as they make lovely little finishing touches to go with this collection).
