I wanted to scrap these two photos for a while now so I printed them in a smaller format to make them work with my layout. These days with my granddaughter are precious as she grows. I guess it won’t be long before she doesn’t want hang out with us! 😂
So, using the Bazzill White as the background, I cut 4 strips of the coloured card measuring 2” wide each. Then cut 4 strips of the patterned paper measuring 1.5” wide each. Stick the two together leaving a margin either side of the patterned paper.
Trim each strip to 10” and cut a V in each end to create a banner shape. Space these evenly down the page and stick down ensuring the very ends of all strips are not glued down.
Add your photos - mine are 3” x 4” landscape which I added at an angle on the second and fourth strips.
I then used embellishments from the kit to each photo and across the patterned paper strips.
Next take some long nosed tweezers and curl the end of each banner tip and one of the corners of the straight end to add dimension.
Next take some pink Dina Wakley acrylic paint and water it down on a craft mat. Use a paint brush to collect the watery acrylic and splatter lightly around the page to finish.
