Hello There Scrapbook Page by KAREN MOSS

We have so many photos of Darcey our (very naughty) CockerPoo but this one, taken my our daughter, epitomises her character – wet from going in the river when she wasn’t supposed to and very curious about the giant dandelion clock we found.

I started this page by trimming ½ in from all four sides of a piece of Spectrum Sherbet Painted Foundations Patchwork. I then used a Tim Holtz ruler (it has handy piercing holes) and a paper piercer to make holes along the lines on the central squares and back stitched these with white embroidery thread.

I stuck this to a piece of Painted Foundations Washed paper (having cut a 1 in frame from this first, so as not to waste any of this gorgeous paper range). I added the large circle, from the Spectrum Sherbet Ephemera bits - Strawberry Lemonade to the top left corner of my page and cut the pink rectangle, from the fussy-cut page of the Spectrum Sherbet Foundations Collection Pack.

I trimmed my 6 x 4 photo down to 5 ½ x 3 ½ and added to the photo mount. My ‘Hello There’ title (made from a Spectrum Sherbet Tag and a Rub-On from the Card Set) was placed at the top right of my photo. Below this I added two tickets and a phrase tag from the Spectrum Sherbet Ephemera bits - Strawberry Lemonade.

At the bottom right of my photo I made a cluster from a phrase tag and some Paige Evans Splendid flower die cuts.

At the top left of my page I added a smaller circle and an arrow circle from the Spectrum Sherbet Ephemera bits - Strawberry Lemonade and some flower die-cuts from Paige Evans Splendid.

To finish, I added three phrases from Spectrum Sherbet Ephemera bits - Strawberry Lemonade.
