Country Walks BY KAREN MOSS

We are so lucky with where we live as there is woodland and countryside just 50m from our front gate! We take full advantage of this by going for long walks most days and on a recent walk I took several photos of the wild foxgloves, Rhododendron bushes the iris' in the pond and the fronds of the ferns unfurling.

I started this layout with a piece of white card to which I added a piece of Uniquely Creative's Tea and Tranquility Beautiful Rituals paper, which I had trimmed 1/4" from the bottom and left. I then added a piece of Relaxation paper trimmed to 11" square.

I made faux polaroid frames by cutting five pieces of white card 3" x 3 1/2" and one 4 3/4" x 5 1/2" and rounding all the corners. These were arranged on my page with photos added.

I thought that the paper background needed some inked stencilling but as I had already added my photos and photo mount felt that I would get the ink everywhere. Fortunately, I remembered I had some 49 and Market rub-ons that looked like ink splatters and was able to add these to my page without making a mess. Although the ones I used are no longer in the shop there are plenty of others to choose from if you so wish.

To finish my page I added ephemera from the Tea and Tranquility Creative Cuts pack and butterflies cut from a cut-a-part sheet.
My title and little trees are from my own supplies.
