A stencil with little stars or snowflakes. For example:
Spell bound by Tim Holtz
Flurries by Tim Holtz
Falling stars by Tim Holtz
Sparkle by The Dusty Attic
Starry night by The Dusty Attic
White gesso smaller or larger sizes available. Or white impasto paint.
Clear or white Glitter
Gel medium (matte or gloss) or a good craft glue
Paint brushes. This is a very useful set by Finnabair (the ones Louise uses almost all of the time).
Kitchen paper roll
Corrugated card
Palette knife
The “cosy Christmas houses” and the silicon “snowflake” moulds.
These are both by Stamperia but they are now discontinued. As stocks vairy with new products coming in all the time, check our mould selection to see if any other are suitable for the desired effect here.
Alternatively use MDF, wood, or chipboard shapes such as these Dusty Attic ones by Nuneka Box.
MDF or wooden laser cut Star.
Louise gets hers from Calico Craft parts, a U.K. based online shop. She used the 250mm x 250mm MDF. Either a 5 point star or a 6 point star. They both look lovely.
