Wonderland by NICOLA CAMPBELL

Nicola here sharing my first layout from the February 2026 Scrapaholix Kits, which are based around Stamperia's Quiet Days collection. 

I used the purple woodgrain paper (the reverse of the Butterfly sheet) from the add-on kit for my background. I matted my photo on the Twig Bazzill cardstock from the main kit and placed it in the centre of the layout. I used some of the Quiet Days rub-ons, a selection of which comes in the main kit (individual kits may have different rub-ons), dotted around my photo and coupled them with some washi pieces from the Stamperia Dewdrops washi pad and 2 frames from the Stamperia Dewdrops Adhesive Ephemera (linked below) to create some background clusters. The Dewdrops collection mixes quite nicely with Quiet Days if, like me, you'd like to use them for a more wintery themed photo.

I then tucked one of the pink flower clusters from the Stamperia Dewdrops Adhesive Ephemera behind my photo and built upon my clusters with some pieces from the Stamperia Dewdrops Die Cuts pack (linked below) - these are more like chipboard thickness than standard card die cuts and, as I wanted the "Wonderland" phrase box to tuck slightly behind the bird, I pulled some of the back layers off to make it a bit thinner than the other pieces.

It's great when collections work so nicely together, especially from the same manufacturer so that the styles are similar - the Quiet Days purple woodgrain paper and rub-ons, mixed in with the elements from the Dewdrops collection made for a perfect layout for this selfie I took on a walk home from the school drop when we had a proper blanket of snow (back in March 2023) that made our village look like something off of a Christmas card. I'm not usually one to be out in the cold longer than necessary (and I usually see snow and just think how much harder it's going to make the daily stuff), but I took the long route home that morning to soak in how picturesque the snow made everything.
