How beautiful is this month's kit - Elegance by Graphic 45?!
When I saw it I knew exactly which photo I wanted to use for my 1st DT page. This is a photo of my daughter wearing her older brother's flat cap and his grey t-shirt - digging in her brother's wardrobe, and decided to play dress up. She called down to me while I was in the kitchen, I came to the bottom of the stairs and there she was sitting at the top of the stairs. She is definitely unique and brings such sparkle to our lives.
I started off this layout by cutting along the pattern of the Graphic 45 Elegance range, the paper called Elegance. I used my distressing tool and roughed up the edges slightly.
I was going to use a light background but decided to use the black Bazzill card called Blackbird from the kit. Next I cut two strips from the paper in the kit called Lovely. And layered them under the Elegance pattern paper that I had fussy cut.
I then decided to use the Tim Holtz layering stencil called Roses to create dimension to my page. I used modeling paste from my stash and stenciled the roses onto the Blackbird cardstock. The Tim Holtz layering stencil is available at The Mad Scrapper. It's my first time using my modeling paste and I am so pleased with the result.
I used tissue paper and black card from my stash to back my photo.
I embelished the bottom of the photo using white roses and dusty pink roses - aren't they pretty. Both kinds of roses are available at the Mad Scrapper.
I used the alphas in the kit for my Title which I had backed onto black card and fussy cut.
I really love how this page turned out.
Happy Scrapping x

This is wonderful! Love your cut edge and perfect stencilling. You have a budding model there for sure. X
