Hi everyone,
Nicola here sharing my second layout from the December 2025 Scrapaholix Christmas Kits - I'm using the kits based around Uniquely Creative's Home for Christmas collection. In December, there's also a winter-themed set (main and add-on kits) based around Echo Park's Snow Days collection.
If you're buying any of the December kits as a one-off, simply write which option (Christmas or Winter) you'd like in the comments box when you check out.
I started with the Hearth & Heart sheet as my background, which comes in the main kit - this is one of those collections where you can really allow the background papers to do a lot of the work for you and just add your own flourishes, rather than needing to build everything up from a blank page.
I matted my photo on the darker side of the Pine Solid cardstock (main kit) and placed it in the gap between the two floral clusters on the background paper, which puts it slightly to the left of centre.
I took some of the snowflakes from the Vellum Creative Cuts pack (link in list below) and tucked some behind my photo and placed a couple more at the edges of my page. I cut some of the snowflakes in half so they look like they go off the edge (this is also a good tip for making them go further).
Then I took the 2 garlands from the Creative Cuts (ephemera) pack (link in list below) and placed them linking out from the top right corner of the page.
I clustered some floral pieces from the Creative Cuts pack tucked in behind the bottom of my photo, then laid a stack of presents piece over the bottom right corner, raising it on foam strips for extra dimension. I fussy cut the "Sparkle" strip from the Ready for Santa patterned paper (add-on kit) and placed that and a star from the Creative Cuts along the bottom left of the photo, again raising them on foam.
To finish off, I added a couple of festive phrase stickers from Vicki Boutin's Peppermint Kisses sticker book from my stash (both raised on foam) along the top of my photo, and a scattering of sticky gems in the little gaps in my clusters.
