Rainy Days Recycled Box BY SHARON NETTLESHIP

Rainy Days Recycled Box BY SHARON NETTLESHIP

I'd kept this little box for a while now and wanted to recycle it.
I measured all sides and the top of the box, I then cut some of the concrete cardstock just a bit smaller than the dimensions of the sides and top. Next I cut the raindrop paper layers again just slightly smaller than the cardstock. The papers were inked around the edges.
For the top square I added some rub ons and one of the die cuts from the kit. The label had the same layered pieces but I added the Rainy days using the alpha stickers from the kit and some stitching stamps in blue ink. I added a little tab and a memo die cut.
I adhered this piece to the box's top layer and added some flowers to the corner.
Each side of the box had one of the layered pieces adhered to it. I added a bit more to the front piece by adding an arrow and butterfly die cut and some more stamped stitches.
And here is my finished box. Something pretty and useful from a simple recycled box.
And just to show you why I picked the words "Rainy Days" for my box! My secret stash of chocolate for rainy days ☺️
