Pawprints on My Heart by JANINE O'ROURKE

Today I'm up on the blog showing you a layout I recently created used the gorgeous July Scrapaholix kits. As soon as I saw the floral paper in the Master of Magic range, the idea for this layout was in my head! I adore the colours and just knew I would be scrapping about my beautiful girl cat Squeabers. 

I gutted the papers as I went, to enable me to create this layout without using extra papers for my layers. Once all the layers were taped down, I added the lace around the photo matt.

I added in additional roses to the layout, which I had sprayed using diluted Seedless Preserves Distress Spray Stain. The leaves are The Dusty Attic yellow rose leaves, which I inked with Iced Spruce Distress Ink to make them go better with the paper.

The title and the black heart in the top cluster are also from The Dusty Attic, I have simply inked them with Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black, and secured them in place using Finnabair's 3D Gloss Gel - my go-to glue for sticking down chippies!

I have also done a wee process video which you can see on our YouTube channel here. I added in a couple of extra flourishes on the bottom cluster after I had finished filming, just thought it finished it off more.
