For this layout I used the Face the Sun patterned paper, cut a parts from the One of a Kind paper, a few stickers from the sticker sheet and a layered sticker piece.
I began by cutting the Face the Sun paper in two so I had one piece measuring 11 and 3/4 by 4.5 inches and one 11 and 3/4 by 7. I distressed the edges of these and placed them onto the Yukon Gold cardstock so the orange side was showing at the bottom and the sun side was showing at the top, I used the branding strip to separate the two pieces. I then used the gold Rik rac sticker beneath this.
I created two thin banners from the off cuts of the paper and placed these top right and bottom left.
I trimmed my photo down to 4x4 and used some white cardstock and navy scrap paper to back it. I attached this at a slight angle to the "better together" 4x6 journalling card from the ‘One of a Kind’ paper. I then began to build up my layers behind this further by adding half the "make today awesome" card on each side, some more scrap paper, which is from the 6x8 paper pad (from my own stash). I used the word "captured" from another cut apart and two epoxy flair from my own stash.
I raised the ‘this is my real life’ phrase, from the cut apart sheet, onto some foam and placed this in the top right. Then used the layered sticker piece on the bottom right with another phrase. I finished the layout with some good Nuvo drops and star stickers from the sheet provided.
