January Layout 3 by ELAINE KING

I used my own sheet of White A4 card as the base.
I used scraps from the Chill Out patterned paper and cut two strips measuring 1 “ wide. I then cut this into rectangles measuring 1.5” long. I then arranged these on the left hand side in two strips leaving a margin top and bottom alternating between the two sides.
I took a single strip measuring 1/2” wide  x  approximately 10.5” long and laid this in line with the two strips of rectangles on the right hand side.
I then took two strips of differing colours of the Have Fun Paper, one measuring 1.5” x 8” and the other 3” x 7” and layered them together overlapping the rectangles.
I matted my photo on the Rust coloured card  and placed these over the layers. I fussy cut some of the elements from scraps and created a tag from one of the banners placing on the left of my photo and tied with twine from my stash.
I used a sticker from the kit as my journaling spot and embellished with more stickers finishing with epoxy stickers from the 49 & Market Bubbles and Trinkets set.
