Get Out plaque by SHARON NETTLESHIP

For my first project I've made a plaque to pop on my desk for a reminder to get out in the fresh air!
For my project I've used an mdf plaque with stand. If you do use something like this don't forget to leave the little lip that goes into the slot bare. Otherwise you'll have a job putting it together. (I've learnt the hard way!)
Cover all the edges with ink. I've used Fossilized Amber oxide ink. Put on a couple of layers.
Cover both pieces completely with the Yukon Gold cardstock. Then layer up with the Wild Branches patterned paper cutting it slightly smaller. Using a craft knife I cut out the slit which was covered with the papers.
Cut a strip of the Get Out patterned paper slightly smaller than the blue paper and add a piece of the sunshine. I used a piece of the branding strip. Adhere to the blue paper.
I adhered 3 fragment square pieces to 3 of the images from the Get Out patterned paper by using glossy accents as it dries clear and won't show. I then cut out around the fragment to trim it up. I cut out some squares in the gold cardstock slightly larger and rounded the corners. I adhered them to the fragments. I loved the little squishy hearts that came with the kit so I added one to each fragment.
I picked out 4 leaves from the chips in the kit and covered them with 2 different shades of green in oxide ink. I then used a clear embossing powder over the top.
I arranged the pieces onto the main area of the plaque. I also added a little "noted" sticker from the kit along the strip.
For the bottom piece I added another sticker.
Push your two pieces together and there you go a lovely little reminder plaque!
