Find Joy in the Ordinary BY ELAINE KING

First I took the sheet with the large floral wreath and trimmed 1/2 an inch off each side. (Don’t be tempted to trim an inch off two sides as the wreath will not then be centred).
Then I took the sheet of Grey Bazzill card and gutted it to leave an inch wide frame. I then used this to mat the wreath paper. I find using wet glue to stick it down ensures you can get the paper on straight. Once stuck down, I added a faux stitched border around the edges of the patterned paper using a fine black marker.
I then took a craft knife and carefully cut around a few of the bottom flowers so they are still attached but can be lifted up to slide the photo under.
I then matted my photo on the remaining piece of Grey card.
Slide the photo under the lifted, cut flowers and stick it down using a wet glue so you have ‘wriggle room’. Using a long sticker from the kit, add the tittle under the photo.
Add the dragonflies to the right of the photo and above it.
Using the white flowers from the kit and some flowers from my stash I added small clusters to the top right and around the title at the bottom. I finally used some enamel dots from my stash to the clusters.
