First cut the piece of Coconut Swirl Cardstock to 11” and mount it onto the Mysterious Teal cardstock having gutted the centre to leave a 1” frame.
Next cut a heart from Paper 5 and very lightly draw around it on the Coconut Swirl card, centralising it.
Then use a blending tool to create the heart shape on the Coconut Swirl card ensuring it is larger than the cut out heart. I used Tim Holtz Unchartered Mariner, Kitsch Flamingo and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxides.
Next cut your patterned paper heart into strips and distress each piece on all sides using the Tim Holtz paper distresser. Stick these back together to form the heart ensuring a sliver of a gap between each piece.
Next I mounted my photo on a piece of the Heidi card stock and then a slightly larger piece of Mysterious Teal card stock.
Using a section of the cut apart sheet I also matted that on a piece of the Teal card too. I lined this up alongside the photo and mounted both on foam pads at the bottom left of the heart at slightly different angles.
Next I fussy cut some flowers from the cut apart sections and arranged these around the photo with a foam sticker from the kit.
I used a large floral foam sticker on the top left of the heart but changed the words using the Tim Holtz Ideology word stickers to replace the wording as they didn’t go with my photo.
I finished it by adding some of the enamel stickers from the kit and used Vicki Boutin Where to Next? puffy stickers to embellish.
