Elegance Mini Album by LOUISE CROSBIE

I’m back with my second project to hopefully offer some ideas and inspiration for using this months kit.
A few years ago I made a mini album as part of a commission but as their circumstances changed, I was left with the album and half the pages completed. It was a shame to waste all those hours of work but the best I could do was to peel off all the papers and photos etc and paint everything over in black gesso for a fresh start.
As it happens, the black base was ideal for this months kit. The graphics 45 papers look very dramatic next to it.
There are lots of flaps, pockets and photo mats, throughout this album, that need a makeover and I have enough paper left to do another page or two which I will share when they are done.
The large photo is of my paternal grandmother. She loved nice clothes and shoes and remained quite stylish into her old age.  A very elegant woman and she seemed an ideal subject for this “Elegance” range.
I’ve used mostly just the monthly kit but the extra supplies are:-
Some lace.
A few bits of Kaisercraft ephemera I’ve had in my stash for years.
Some craft tape I’ve had for years. ( “I’ve had for years” is a bit of a theme with me.)
2 little buttons
A metal corner embellishment.
Small bit of text added by rubber stamping (on the pink part of the left hand page)
