Collect Beautiful Moments Album Cover by SHARON NETTLESHIP

I've had this little Snap album which is 8" x 8.5" sitting around for ages. When I saw this month's kit I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I will use the album for documenting our holidays and days out. What better way to start than using the gorgeous "Sweet Rush" kit and add on. So today I am showing you how I made a cover for my album.
I started off by printing out my photo to 12.5 x 11cms. I then cut two pieces of the White OP to 19x18cms and 13x11.5cms.  I then cut out a piece of the "Good Vibes" patterned paper from the add on kit to 18x17cms.  I made sure that I had both the stars and sea areas of the paper.
I adhered the patterned paper to the larger white layer. Using a matte texture paste and a Sweet Rush stencil I applied texture to the paper and left it to dry. I then adhered the photo to the smaller white layer.
When the texture paste was dry I adhered the photo layer to the main page. Using some rub ons I applied some in the same colours to both the photo and main page.
Also in this range are some stamps and stickers and I used the stamp set to stamp some of the images onto the same patterned paper. I then clear embossed them and cut them out.
I arrange the stamped images onto the page and added some of the quote chips and alpha stickers that came with the kits. To finish off I added some Sweet Rush stickers. I then adhered the whole page to the front of my album.
I love this kit it's so colourful. just right for Summer and days out. This will be an ongoing project for me and I hope to show you some more pages in my album using Scrapaholix kits.
