Bloom by NICOLA CAMPBELL

Hi everyone,
Nicola here sharing my next layout from the October 2025 Scrapaholix Kits, which are based around 49 and Market's Botanical Buzz collection.
I started with the Botanical Buzz Fresh sheet, which comes in the add-on kit, and placed my 6x4 photo (backed on the Pollen cardstock) in the middle. I put a small amount of adhesive tape in the middle of my photo, just to hold it in place while I positioned some of my rub-ons (some of which are in the kit; some are from the full pack, which is linked below) and ephemera, so that I could lift the edges up to tuck underneath before adhering the photo down properly.
Then I took some of the hexagons from the Die Cuts Elements pack and positioned them on either side of my photo (3 on each side). I wanted some of my hexagons to interlock, so I cut slits in them to allow me to tuck parts of one hexagon behind another.
Once all my hexagons were in place and I could see where the gaps were, I added some more rub-ons and ephemera (ticket from the Die Cuts Elements pack; flowers from the Laser Cut Elements pack) on either side to make it look kind of like the flowers were growing around the hexagons - the sign on the fallen tree in the photo talks about how they left the tree in situ to allow other plants and creatures to use it as a habitat, so that felt like a fitting effect.
Finally, I added my chipboard title (a small selection comes in the add-on kit; full pack is also linked below) in the bottom right corner of my cluster and tucked a daisy behind it to finish off.
I hope this has given you some inspiration for the October 2025 kits and I look forward to bringing you more layouts very soon. In the meantime, there's lots of crafty inspiration available on the Scrapaholix and Mad Scrapper blogs, so do pop over and take a look.

Happy crafting! x

Do you know where I can get page kits like this sent to me? I would love to do retreats and events for scrapbooking but am finding it hard to make contacts and friends for scrapbooking
