Believe by KERRY MCINALLY

I began by framing a white piece of cardstock with the Pear cardstock.  I had previously cut into this so rather than placing the frame entirely on the back, part is on the back and part on the front.  I decided to use some of the laser cut outs from the 49 and Market Moonlit Garden on this layout, from my own stash, as I thought the colours complimented it perfectly.  So I matched the missing edges of my frame with pieces of the lace cut outs.
Then using the packaging technique I created a background of Bundled Sage distress oxide, from my own stash, in the centre of the white cardstock.  I then used a hexagon stencil, again from my own stash to add some more interest centrally but also in the edges.
Next using papers 3, 2 and 6, I cut hexagons each a little bigger than the previous one to mat my photo, also a hexagon. The photo was 4 inches wide approximately and the last hexagon was just under 5 inches.  I distressed each edge and raised each layer onto some foam.
Finally I placed my photo centrally on the page and embellished with leaves and daisies from the Moonlit Garden collection.  I added the word "believe" to the bottom, which I had painted with gold Shimmerz paint from my stash.
