You & Me Always by NICOLA CAMPBELL

You & Me Always by NICOLA CAMPBELL

Hi everyone,
Nicola here sharing my first layout using the October 2026 Scrapaholix Kits, which are based around the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Timeless Harmony collection. The blog post walking you through the contents of both the main and add-on kits can be found here and you can subscribe to both kits as a bundle here.
I've used the Encore Paper Alabaster cardstock from the main kit as the base for my layout and then I cut some squares and rectangles using postage stamp cutting dies from my stash out of the Beautiful Life (main kit), Cherished Moments(add-on kit), and Timeless Memories (which I bought as an extra) cardstocks. I cut another one using the Encore Paper Mediterranean cardstock (main kit) to use as a backing for my 3x4 photo.
I overlapped the postage stamp pieces to build up a patchwork background and added some green splatters using Distress Oxide Evergreen Bough (I splattered before sticking down my photo) and a rub-on from the Stamperia Herbarium Silvae Cabin rub-on pack, which I thought went quite nicely because of the lanterns and the bird's nest (my photo was taken in a bar called "The Aviary" which is lit by lanterns and fairy lights).
I took some Timeless Harmony die cuts (you get a selection of 9 in the add-on kit; designs vary) and tucked them behind the lefthand side and top of my photo. I added a few Timeless Harmony enamel dots (you get 1 row of 6 in the add-on kit; colours vary).
To finish, I built my title using a "You & Me" die cut (add-on kit) and "always" from the Timeless Harmony foam stickers (you get ¼ pack in the main kit) and, to continue the aviary theme, I added a bird sticker from the Timeless Harmony cardstock stickers - basics (which I bought as an extra to my kits). The "You & Me" and the bird are raised on foam strips.
I hope this has given you some inspiration for the October 2026 kits and I look forward to bringing you more layouts very soon. In the meantime, there's lots of crafty inspiration available on the Mad Scrapper blog, so do pop over and take a look.
Happy crafting! x
