Winter wonderland: Layout By Karen Moss

This is another old but much loved photo that I have scrapped several times before - do you scrap as an art form and use the same photo on different projects or do you scrap to record the moment and mainly scrap a photo only once?  I am the former rather than the latter!

Using only the Little Birdie Joy of Winter Paper Kit,  I started this page by trimming .25" from each side of the blue deer and snowflake paper.  I then decided I wanted a torn edged piece across the centre of my page and chose the dark red paper.  When I tore it I discovered that it had a gray core, which was a nice surprise and I felt enhanced the design.

I added my photo to the left of my page and created clusters, using the die-cuts and stickers from the paper kit.

I then scattered the blue sparkly snowflakes, also from the kit, around my page.

To finish I added acrylic animals and hearts from my own supplies but if you had wooden ones they would work just as well.
