Wild Child by KAREN MOSS

Wild Child by KAREN MOSS

Our little Ezzy is 'All Boy' and I think it must be in his DNA.  He always gravitates towards cars, dirt and mud.  We call him our Feral Boy as he is never happier than running around outside and if inside is constantly asking "Outside please".  On a recent holiday in the Lake District (earlier this month) he spent as much time as he was allowed to, sitting and playing in the cold water of the lakes!

For this layout I wanted to use as many of the products, from the Starlight Dream Collection as there was so much in the pack - excellent value for money!

I started by trimming 1/2" from the bottom and one side of the Mystical paper and added this to a piece of 12 x 12 white card.  I then added the 10" square piece, I had gutted from the Surreal paper on my last project.

I used the rub-ons to add stars and painty smudges to my page, then made a cross using washi strips, topping the horizontal band with moon phase laser cuts.

My photo was placed near the top left of my page with a 3" x 4" journaling card, cut from Tranquil.

I tucked a flower circle laser cut over the top left corner of my photo and made a cluster with more laser cuts and moons that I had punched out from some of the packaging.

At the bottom left and right I stuck another large laser cut, adding the 'Stay Wild Moon Child' rub-on over the left one.

From the chipboard word I sorted the ones that I thought suited Ezzy and added them in a column below my photo.

To finish, a chipboard phrase was stuck above the 'Stay Wild ...' rub-on and the branding strip from the Whimsical paper trimmed into strips and placed beneath the journaling block.  Star Wishing Bubbles were then scattered around my page.
