True Love by KAREN MOSS

True Love by KAREN MOSS

Our daughter got married in May 2022 - how can that year have gone so quickly, and I knew that wedding photos would be perfect for using with the Toast collection. My intention was to use a filter to make the photos sepia to tone better with the papers but when I looked at my photos saw that the colours were perfect for this range!

I started my layout by cutting a 1" frame from a piece of Toast Paper 3. I then trimmed 1/2" from the bottom and right of Toast Paper 4 and added this to the frame.

Next I stamped some flowers and butterflies, using Paige Evans Splendid stamps and Vintage Photo ink. These were then fussy cut.

From the Vintage Artistry Naturalist Bookplates, I selected two small 4" x 6" blank pages and a large 'open book' page - I cut this in half. The small book pages were arranged centrally on my layout and before sticking down I added a printed book page, at an angle, at the top left and bottom right.

I stuck a photo behind two of the 3" x 4" Toast Frames and tied a piece of cream twine around the bottom of each one. These were added to my page, on top of the blank book pages. I also added a Manilla tag below the left photo and above the right one (these were from my own supplies, as was the 'True Love' sticker.

To finish, I used the fussy-cut flowers and butterflies, Burlap Flowers Natural and Toast Acetate Leaves to create clusters at the right of the top photo and left of the bottom. I also added a flair, from my own supplies, to the blank tag and an acetate butterfly to the corner of each of the photos.
