Summer Adventures by KAREN MOSS

I absolutely love the 49 and Market Alena range and thought it would be perfect to scrap two photos of my daughter and her husband, on honeymoon, earlier this year. The peach and teal colours were perfect for a summery layout.

I started with two sheets of Alena - Dramatic. I fussy-cut the outside of the wreath of one piece and placed this over the wreath of the second sheet, adjusting it so that the main flower elements showed from both sheets. I used foam pads to attach the fussy-cut wreath to the one below.

I then trimmed the white border from some flowers and butterflies, taken from a pack of Alena Ephemera Bits, and added to places where I felt more colour was needed.

For a photo mount I used one of the journaling pieces from the Alena Ephemera Bits and added this to my page at the bottom of the circle on the Dramatic paper. at the top right of this I placed two chipboard tags from the Alena Chipboard Pieces. Two 3in x 4in photos were placed on to my photo mount, at a slight angle to each other, with a phrase from the Alena Ephemera Bits adhered above the right photo.

To finish I added three clusters of flowers and leaves and a title using flowers and alphas from my own supplies.

Supplies used:

Alena Dramatic Paper x 2

Alena Ephemera Bits

Alena Chipboard Pieces
