Stay Curious BY KAREN MOSS

When I saw the Written In The Stars range from Uniquely Creative, I couldn't get it into my shopping basket quick enough, I am totally in love with all of it.  Perfect for all age ranges and really perfect for our adventurous toddler!

When Gracia sent me this photo of him fully clothed and up past his ankles in a rock pool - I knew it was ideal to use with this range.

I started by cutting all the stars from a piece of Bright Star Paper.  I trimmed 1/4" from all sides from another sheet of the same paper and cut a large star from the centre.  A piece of vellum was glued to the back of the star cut out, and I stitched this to a piece of white card, around the left, bottom and right of the paper and also all but the top point of the star.

Fussy cut and die cut stars were added between the vellum and card.  After finishing stitching I shook my page to make the stars move to the right side of the star.

A 7" x 5" photo was added to the left with a cluster comprising a tag, circle and phrase cut from Guiding Light and Superstar papers placed at the top left. On the right of my photo I added another phrase and made the word 'Happy' by trimming one of the die-cuts

Two brackets, from the die-cut pack were used to ground my title, which was one I had in my stash, along with a chipboard sticker and a phrase taken from the fussy cut sheet.

To finish, I used enamel stars and perspex stars from my own supplies.
