Perfect Day by KAREN MOSS

When I saw the Mintay Family Stories paper MT FM-05 it reminded me of a patchwork quilt so I knew I wanted to use it on a page with lots of hand stitching.

I started by stitching a 4 x 4 grid onto some white cardstock.

Then I cut the paper into 2 1/2" squares and added to the centre of each sewn square. with plain ones at the centre and embroidered ones around the edge.

My 5" square photo was placed onto the centre squares.

I added my title, from my own stash, to the top left square and then used die-cuts and chipboard pieces to embellish four of the squares.

I pierced holes into the buttons from the die-cut pack and added stitching before placing at the intersections of the stitched lines.

Supplies used:

Family Stories 12 x 12 Paper Pack

Family Stories Paper Die Cuts

Family Stories Ephemera

Family Stories Sticker Words

Family Stories Chipboard Ephemera Sheet

Bazzill White/Canvas

Sticky Thumb Sticky Flat Dots 1/4"
