Octopus canvas project. By LOUISE CROSBIE

Octopus canvas project. By LOUISE CROSBIE

Hi there.
Today I am sharing a canvas with you.
When these Stamperia moulds first came out I was desperate to have one but I didn’t have the money. Then when I had the money, nobody had them left in stock.
However, I contacted Janine at The Mad Scrapper and asked if she had any. She didn’t, but she ordered one in for me. I just had to wait on her order arriving.
Let that be a lesson to you lol. If you can’t find it and it is a brand Janine stocks, it is always worth asking if there’s any chance she can get it in for you. Can’t hurt can it?
So on to the canvas. I have a lot of old canvases lying around that I did when I was less experienced at mixed media. They are not good enough for me to be prepared to display them any more so I recycle them. This means I have a ready made texture to paint over lol.
I used the mould and some quick setting resin to make my octopus. All the rest of the embellishments are made using Finnabair moulds.
It’s really a lot of painting and layering of gears and pipes etc.
As ever, if you have any questions just give me a shout on my Facebook craft page or in the comments here and I will happily answer as best I can.

This is so lovey. Which particular mould has the octopus? He’s jus gorgeous.

Thanks,
