Hello,
Today I am sharing a layout for The Mad Scrapper Blog and I am using the final photograph my friend gave me to make her some pages of a recent photo shoot gift she received for her birthday.
As the theme was blue and white I decided to use my last sheet of Boho Soul paper along with flowers from the shop and this Pink Fresh Studio Be Fearless collection which Janine did sell a little while back, maybe you have some of these too.
I started as always by gathering products I thought I'd use. I also used a chicken wire chipboard from Dusty Attic
I decided to colour the chipboard using blue acrylic paint but after it dried I thought it looked a bit out on its own so I added dabs of gold paint in places. I also grabbed a couple of stash bits and painted them too. As the title is a gold foil script I decided to mount the photo on some gold.
The stamped images I heat embossed using gold so everything worked together. When you emboss the image it sure helps with the stencils slotting in to place easily. Here you can see how I added some to the cluster along with paper flowers and leaves. The sub sentiment is from another stamp set which I embossed in gold too.
This next photo shows the bottom cluster made up in the same way as the one above. I added my flowers using hot glue and my photo has foam strips under to balance it with the chipboard.
To finish off I added some pearls and gold pearls in different sizes. One thing I didn't say before but you probably noticed I trimmed the paper to 11 inches - one side I tore and inked with gold then tucked the opposite side of the manufacturer strip before adding it to a mint cardstock which I gutted and used some for the first mat on the photo.
