Moonlit Garden vintage style layout: by Louise Crosbie

It’s been quite a long time since I did a layout but I had a bit of an impulse to do one today. I know, for some people, it’s not scrapbooking when it’s not photos of your actual friends and family but I don’t always use photos like that. Sometimes I do but other times, like this time, I just use images I love. And as most of us  craft for the joy and love of it, then enjoying it is the main thing.
So it’s a layout and maybe not a scrapbook page.
I’ve used a lot of 49 and Market “Moonlit Garden” products. The 12 x 12, laser cuts, cut outs from the 12 x 12 cut out sheet, and a few bits from the 12x12 rubon sheet.
To add the peachy touches I first gave my 12 x 12 paper a two coats of clear gesso to protect the paper, and let it dry. I then used a spray mister to wet the areas I wanted the colour on and sprinkled on some magicals before spraying with some water again.

The image is from a set of printable that Nuneka kindly gives her patreons and I’m so in love with this one in particular.
I’ve used some Finnabair unicorn hair sparks paint for splatters and attached a few sequins and beads here and there.

I’ve had that little metal frame for about 20 years and no idea where I got it but it went really well with the feel of the layout I think.
The card underneath is Bazzill but I’d already cut off the code strip so am unsure what colour it is. But it’s a nice muted peachy colour to match the photo and magicals.
