March in Five by KAREN MOSS

Well we are on to March's favourite photos already! In March we discovered that the grandbaby, due in August, is going to be a girl! I also spent some time in Newcastle with Gracia and her family and we took several lovely photos of Ezzy. Also, I washed and ironed the baby clothes I had saved from when Gracie was a baby and got them ready for the arrival of our new addition.

This month I have used papers and embellishments from Uniquely Creative's Botanical Chronicals together with an ephemera pack from Mintay Papers.

For this double page I started with two sheets of Bazzill Kraft and two sheets of Bazzil String of Pearls. I trimmed .5" from the top and left of both String of Pearls card and cut a 1" frame from the Bazzill Kraft. I used my Silhouette and the centre sections of Kraft to cut elements scalloped strips and doily and my title. These could be replaced with a pre-cut doily and strips made using a border punch.

I added a 12" x 4" strip of Illustrated Foliage, striped side showing, across the centre of both of my layouts. I then laid the two layouts side by side and added two 12" x 2" strips of Nature's Palette, spot side showing, overlapping the join. I placed a scalloped kraft strip above the top strip and below the bottom one. A kraft doily, cut with my Silhouette, was added to the right side page. I then cut the two pages apart.
