Love This Always by KAREN MOSS

I love that our daughter and I go on adventures - making special memories together. There are so many photos of just the two of us that I can always find one or two to scrap :0)

I have a process video for this layout and that goes into more detail as to how it was made.

I started with two pieces of Spectrum Gardenia - Menagerie Melody and fussy cut the butterflies from the top of one to use as a mask on the other. A die cut butterfly flourish and mask were also cut. I added the fussy cut butterfly piece and the mask to my page.

Four colours of Distress Oxide Ink (Faded Jeans, Peeled Paint, Spiced Marmalade and Candied Apple) were the used to colour the whole of the piece of paper. A butterfly stencil and baby wipe were used to remove some of the ink colour to give a slight differentiation of colour and I also used some Spun Sugar texture paste through the stencil. My texture paste was old and had become 'gloopy' so didn't give the smooth finish I envisaged!

After removing the masks and adding my butterfly flourish I embellished the layout using rub-ons, laser cut butterflies, laser cut ephemera and pieces from the ephemera pack. I used words from the die-cut words pack for my title.

The page turned out much brighter than I had anticipated but I am really pleased with the final result.
