Little Winter bird...by LOUISE CROSBIE

Little Winter bird...by LOUISE CROSBIE

Hello everyone.
Today I have another layout to share. (Actually this one is reversible).
I am sharing side one this week and will share the flip side another time.
*The image is not the image that the layout is made for but the image that should be there is of a family member and child. She is ice skating in Prince’s street gardens in edinburgh and as she was dressed in a nice greenish teal colour, the layout seemed appropriate. But as I do not like to share images of family without permission and never want to share images of children online, I have substituted one of Tim Holtz‘ lost relatives cards for the purposes of this post. It goes really well I think.
I have used a sheet of Blue Fern scrapbook paper from their vintage Christmas range. As is my way, I scruffed up the edges and stained them using a blending tool and some vintage photo distress ink.  The Ephemera was from my personal stash then I adorned it with a selection of flowers (49 and Market, Prima, green Tara) and some snowflake embellishments painted white and distressed with a little vintage photo distress ink. I dabbed some glue on patches of them and sprinkled my favourite frosty looking ‘glamour dust glitter’ over them.
I did some die cut foliage using white card and also covered those with the glitter.
The result gives a nice soft frosty look I think.
