Little boudoir keepsake box by LOUISE CROSBIE

Little boudoir keepsake box by LOUISE CROSBIE

Hi there.
Todays project has a bit of a romantic theme to it. I wanted to use the little bottle moulds, that I used on my tin last month, in a more soft, feminine romantic way.  So I went with shades of magenta and plum. Although I used lavender paint, when it blended with the magenta it went a bit more plum.
I used the Finnabair Theatre stencil to create texture on the box first of all.
I love how the paints flow between the ridges of texture when sprayed with water.
I could have left it looking clean with the white, magenta, lavender mix but I wanted a vintage look (don’t I always). I used burnt sienna liquid acrylics to bring my vintage look to it.
As well as the paint, I’ve used metallic waxes and pixie effect paste to add a little bling to it.
Supply list
Finnabair Stencil: Theatre night
Modeling paste (or 3D gel)

Hi Louise.
Hope this finds you well. Are you giving a class for the August box or have you given one already.
