I Am Here For The Good Times by KAREN MOSS

We have had dogs for over 30 years with our first three were Golden Retrievers but we now have a Cockerpoo - Darcey. She is such a character and we got her the December before the first lockdown so is definitely my dog as we spent 5 months furloughed together. She turned three in October and I made this layout with her birthday photos.

I really liked the idea of using Vicki Boutin Print Shop for a monochrome layout to showcase her beautiful black curls! I started the page by adding more black splashes (using black paint) to a piece of Vicki Boutin Print Shop - Typeset. I then trimmed 1/4" from each side and used a black pen to draw a border. This was then added to a black piece of cardstock.

Next I fussy-cut flowers from a sheet of Print Shop Floral Display.

I started constructing my page by adding two 3 x 3 photos to two frames from Vintage Artistry Essentials - File Frame Set and added these to the left of my page with approx 2" on the left and 1" top and bottom. I then added one of the solid squares, from the same set, centrally to the right of these.

To the solid square I added three flowers from Majestic Bouquet - Midnight Paper Flowers and a sprig of leaves, from the same set. The fussy-cut flowers were scattered around the page.

Finally, I used Print Shop Mixed Chipboard Shapes above each photo and to form two clusters at the top right and bottom left of my page.
