Hope in your heart by LOUISE CROSBIE

Hope in your heart by LOUISE CROSBIE

Hi there.
Im sharing this winter plaque that I made on a very sturdy piece of corrugated cardboard.
It’s captioned “A star of hope in your heart” as, let’s face it, winter alone can leave us needing hope of some light in our world but after winter and two years of pandemic, a lot of us need it more than ever.
So you will need a large piece of very firm corrugated card, and some old book pages to create your base. And I’ve used a lot of Finnabair mechanicals and moulds too.
The original inspiration was a colour palette mood board challenge Finnabair set for the people in her patreon group. And as I was making it just 12 days before Christmas, I had the urge to include snowflakes and pine cones.
Now all I have to do is work out how I’m going to hang it 🤔
Supply list:

Products by Finnabair:

White heavy body gesso: Small, Medium, Large
Sparks Acrylic paint: dragon's eye
Metallique Wax: White gold, Aged brass
Mechanicals: Metal flowers (roses), Woodland leaves, Rustic Gears, Mini Stars ,
Impasto paint: Manor Blue (Mixed with white modeling paste), Victorian Green (Mixed with white gesso)
