Hello Today Mini Album BY KAREN MOSS

In February, we spent more time than planned with Gracie, Josh and Ezzy. I met Gracie and Ezzy in York and we had a wonder around and an afternoon tea as an early birthday celebration for me. We then went to Newcastle where I stayed for a few days and when I was travelling home on the train, Gracie rang to say she was on her way back to our house (a five hour drive) as she wanted to see her Grandma who had taken 'a turn for the worse'. Although, she intended returning to Newcastle two days later, Ezzy caught a tummy bug which he passed on to Gracie, resulting in them staying eight days. The good times, during this period, outweighed the bad and I made a little mini-album to remind myself.

I started making a mini album out of cards and envelopes - this is the same as the one I used last month but I used 6" x 6" cards this time.

Once it was made I used the While Away 6x 6 collection pack and a piece of Daydream Calm & Collected paper to cover the pages. In this pack are several fussy cutting sheets including four pages which have little pockets and tags which, along with the pockets and tags from the While Away Folio Bits paper, I used to add to my mini-album. I needed more pockets and tags and used two sheets from the 6 x 6 collection pack for these. I inked their edges using Walnut Stain ink in keeping with the other pockets and tags.

I used the Sweet Rush clear stamps - The Details, to make some little journaling blocks which I popped into the pockets, along with the tags.

To finish I added a piece of pink lace to secure the album shut and decorated the covers and pages using While Away and Daydream Creative Cuts and pieces fussy cut from the 6 x 6 paper pad. My photos are going to be added behind the tags and on the white photo mats.
