I'm here today sharing my project for The Mad Scrapper Blog it's a fun Halloween hanger. I am using one of those inexpensive ply pumpkin shapes which I picked up in a bargain shop for £1.
I'm using papers and flowers from the Thirty-One collection by Prima Marketing. I firstly covered the stalk with black paint and then I took the All The Treats paper using the webs to cover the base. I sanded the edges after the glue was dry. Then I coloured some soft modeling paste with gold acyclic paint and passed it through my Tapestry stencil in a few areas.
Then I gathered some other bits together that I thought I may use. As you can see I cut a few ghosts from the Hocus Pocus paper, a few bats using Blush & Black glitter card. Also I found feathers, Cheesecloth and Jack-O-Lanterns by Dusty Attic.
I gessoed the the Jack-O-Lanterns, a witches hat charm and a tassel top in white then I added baby pink paint. I painted the stalks with black and gold paint. The tassel I made using the Hocus Pocus paper and a die.
The two papers I have chosen to use on this project have journaling on the other sides and this is where I cut the October 31st and the Black Cat Boo! from. There are other images which can be used just as easy on cards or even gift bags.
The next 3 photos show close ups of the finished project.
Here you can see the beautiful flowers and yes those gold beads are in the centres! You can also see the tassel I made too.
Here you can see the Black cat card which I matted on to another journal card with another under that shows the golden web which its self was matted on to black glitter card. All edges were distressed before sticking down. There's the witches hat too.
Another close up of the flowers but you can also see the pink and white pompoms I added as well as pink flower gems and glitter glue dots too. Other items used today were Nuvo Drops in black and white and pink twine.
Thanks for stopping by today. I do hope you can check out this collection along with many others in store or online at The Mad Scrapper .
Till next time, take care.
