Good Days by SUE CREASE

Hello there,
Today you find me over on The Mad Scrapper Blog with this fun layout from my recent holiday in America. On this occasion we were having a drive out to this cute store which sells new and reclaimed items for the house and garden as well as clothing. Here you can see me eyeing up a pair of pale pink cowboy boots and some lovely jewellery which always catches my eye.
I decided to add a black border and I also wanted to fussy cut the florals from the right hand side. So I removed them which left a space so to that I added some yellow and the manufacturer strip too. It looks a bit messy right now but you would never know looking at the finished layout.
This second photo shows the photographs mounted on several mats and added on a jaunty angle. I tore a little section on the right and tucked a bit of the brick paper under there. The florals are stuck flat to the edge of the paper but lifted up over the photo. The title is from my stash of other collections which are too good to throw.
This last photo shows the journaling and the enamel dots which I have added around the page.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope I have inspired you to get those photos printed and put on a layout. We don't do enough of ourselves. If you are looking to add to your collection pop in to see Janine in store or go to The Mad Scrapper  and look at your leisure.

Sue.

Supply List:
