G is for Gracia by KAREN MOSS

Our daughter has had a really rough time with her pregnancy and I wanted to document how she has, hopefully, overcome the worse and is now feeling and looking much better.
For this layout I wanted to use 49 and Market's Rust & Revs 2.0 for a more girly page. I looked through the available embellishments in the shop and found a cut-a-part sheet of Uniquely Creative butterflies (Willow & Grace) and some vellum flowers, also from Uniquely Creative (Bohemian Escape) which were perfect to pair with the two papers I had chosen.
I started by cutting 1/4" from all sides of a piece of Rust and Revs Solids 2 and then printed an oversized G, which I used as a template to cut my letter from the centre. I backed this with a piece of Rust and Revs Commanding and then stitched around the 'G' and added a stitched border.

After fussy cutting the butterflies from the cut-a-part sheet, I arranged them inside the 'G'.
A cluster, made from the vellum flowers, was placed at the top left of my page, to which I added my photo, a phrase and clock from the Rust and Revs ephemera pack and a metal heart.

As a final flourish - a frame from the ephemera pack was backed with some journaling, another phrase from Rust & Revs 2.0 ephemera and a vellum butterfly.
