February Month in Five by KAREN MOSS

For my second in this year long project, I have used Uniquely Creative's Whispers of Wisdom range. Four of the five photos I have chosen are from a couple of weekends we had away earlier in February, along side a very special photo of our new grand-baby due in August.

I wanted to use the Gingham Square Decorative Base Layer on the right of my double page and so needed to make a corresponding one for the left. I did this by using a Martha Stewart punch around the page punch and some white card, which I then topped with one of the papers from the Whispers of Wisdom paper pack. I added another paper from the pack, trimmed to 11.5" square, to a piece of white card and then added the punched square to the top of this.

I added photos to a Uniquely Creative die cut (Nature Frame Overlay) and placed it at the center of my page, only adhering the frames and leaving the leaves unstuck. Above and below the frame, I tucked Floral Creative Cuts.

This side was finished with two butterflies, from the pack used above, a title that I had cut from a piece of paper, from the paper pack, and some journaling strips.

For the right side I added a piece of pink gingham paper, trimmed to 11.5" to a piece of white card stock and then added the Gingham Square Decorative Base. After adding my two photos I used clusters of Floral Creative Cuts along the left side and above and below the small photo, adding journaling strips to the bottom left of my page.
