February by KAREN MOSS
This is my second layout documenting my crafting activities each month. Not as many this time as there were several 'life gets in the way' occurrences in February but, as we all know, crafting is a fabulous escape from the unexpected things life throws at you!
I have used a combination of collections from Uniquely Creative - Day Dream and While Away.
I started with a sheet of Day Dream - Calm and Collected paper and on the reverse side, cut the bottom two rows of squares off. I then cut all the squares from the top piece. The bottom two rows of squares had 1" trimmed from one short side and was added to the right of a piece of white cardstock.
I then trimmed the squares to approximately 2 1/4" and inked the edges of 10 squares, arranging them on the left of my page, an additional square was cut into two triangles to place at the far left of the page. The arrangement was fairly fluid as the 'squares' were not exactly square.
I cut two film strips on my Silhouette (there are chipboard ones in the shop which could also be used) and added photos behind the apertures. These were added to the right of my page. My title was also cut on my Silhouette using paper from the While Away 6 x 6 pad. There is a Dusty Attic chipboard 'February' available in the shop.
To finish, I added a library card, also cut from the 6 x 6 pad, and creative cuts from both ranges.
