Fantasy Layout by LOUISE CROSBIE

Hi there.
Todays project is a dark fantasy style layout inspired by this lovely photograph by Alice Alinari.
I wanted to use the frame from  Finnabairs “locks and keys” mould but I've not made the most of it due to placing the elements quite badly causing the layout to be a bit unbalanced. I’m a tad annoyed at myself.
However, despite that, I love the overall look of this layout.
The gothic looking text in the stencil adds to the fairytale vibe and as most original fairytales had some darker menacing undertones, I felt like using a black background and base for starting with.
I’ve got sparkly sequins and glitter on it which don’t show up very well in photos but they look great in real life.
I’ve used metallique paints to add colour and lots of lovely Dusty Attic chipboard as well as  more Finnabair moulds and metal embellishments to give a rich dimensional feel and look.
Thanks for looking. As ever, if you have any questions about this project, don’t hesitate to email me.
Louise.
