Hello,
Here I am sharing another layout made for The Mad Scrapper Blog and this time I have decided to create a 8 x 11 inch layout. I picked up some page protectors on my last holiday in the USA and they will fit in my postbound album.
This layout is of my cousin's new grandson who was born whilst I was there, isn't he adorable? His momma was having a little fun on her phone.

I was sent these two photographs - one I chose to fussy cut out, don't you think he looks like he's whispering to the other?
I started by cutting down the base card to 8"x11" and distressed all edges, then I took my next paper and made it a half inch smaller all round. To that I took two distress inks and added them though a bubble stencil. Then I chose 3 floss in similar colours to the buttons on the ice-cream and stitched around the edges. I distressed the edges and added it to the base.

Here you can see a little close up on the whispering Myles, and I surrounded him in saved fussy cut florals from Cocoa Vanilla - Happy Days collection. As a nod to the ice-cream I added two crochet flowers with a little button centre as well as a couple of stars.

Here is a closer look at the die cut title which I cut from the base paper and added a drop shadow of baby blue. To finish off I added some tiny little flowers in yellow, blue and greens and that little love heart in blue.

Thanks for stopping in today, I do hope you like this fun layout I have made for you. All listed supplies can be picked up in store or go to The Mad Scrapper and browse at your leisure.
Sue.
