Chelsea in Bloom Folio by KAREN MOSS

A friend and I recently visited Chelsea in Bloom.  For those who are unfamiliar with this event it is held at the same time as the Chelsea Flower Show but flower sculptures and displays are placed all around the Chelsea area - it is spectacular and well worth a visit!

I wanted to make a mini-album to hold my photos (to be added) and remembered I still had a 6" x 8" 49 and Market gatefold folio in my supplies which had been there for quite some time.

I started by cutting the two small flaps from the bottom of the folio as I wanted to used these to make a pocket and a belly band.

I used several 49 and Market "From the Garden" papers (Solid Sheet 3, Rosewater x 2, Queen Anne, Foxglove, Seed and Soil and Untamed) to cut pieces to cover my folio.  There is a die-cut set for this if you wish but I used my Silhouette.

I added the small flap as a pocket beneath the large top flap and folded the second large top flap back on itself so that it was over the back page.  I then added the second small flap to the centre of the right 6" x 8" page to form a belly band.  I popped a 4 1/2" square concertina folded booklet (which I also covered with paper) under the belly band.

I added white photo mounts to each page and decorated with pieces from the laser cut pack and also stickers from Uniquely Creative's Botanical Script Stickers.
