Hi everyone,
Nicola here sharing my second layout from the March 2026 Scrapaholix Kits, which are based around Graphic 45's Journaling Through Time collection. The blog post walking you through the contents of both the main and add-on kits can be found here.
I used a sheet of white cardstock as my base (you get one in the main kit). I backed my 6x4 photo on the Almond Cream Bazzill cardstock (main kit) and then cut 6x4 pieces out of the Whirlpool and Grenadine cardstocks (main kit) and placed them behind the photo, sticking out of opposite corners at wonky angles and stuck the whole thing down as my centrepiece.
To add some interest to my background, I added some rub-ons from the AALL & Create - Pastel Vibes set that I had in my stash. It's only an A5 sheet, so I chopped it up and tucked bits in and around the photo so that it covered a bigger area and I didn't lose any behind the photo.
I placed a few of the Journaling Through Time die-cuts around the top left and bottom right corners of the photo - you get a small selection in the main kit (designs vary). Then to finish off, I added "the first rays of spring sunshine" phrase boxes (which I cut from one of the sheets in the Ciao Bella Majestic Dream Fussy Cut Pad from my stash) along the bottom, raised on foam strips.
